The Market Pavilion Hotel is a new 70 room full service boutique hotel, at the corner of South Market Street and East Bay Street beside the historic City Market, Customs House, and waterfront. It was designed as a world class hotel including a 116 seat, 4 star restaurant called Grill 225, 3000 square feet of meeting and banquet rooms with contemporary technological amenities that can accommodate from 60 to 100 guests depending on the specific needs of a given event, a ballroom, as well as full service catering facilities for any special functions. Some of the luxurious features of the property include Bodacino marble, mahogany, a cascading pool, and classic British styling as well as nineteenth century period furnishings. It also contains a secluded multi story parking garage for 55 cars made possible by the south east's only car elevator lift, a roof top bar called Pavilion Bar, and a roof top swimming pool with unparalleled views of the the harbor and historic city of Charleston.
